Key Players 2026
The standout names expected to carry Quetta Gladiators’ title defence in PSL 11.
Led QG to the PSL 10 title in 2025. A technically brilliant Test batter who transforms in T20 — ice-cool under pressure and one of Pakistan’s most dependable captains right now.
One of the most destructive left-handed batters in world T20 cricket. Rossouw has been a PSL standout for years — capable of changing a match in 10 balls at the top of the order.
Australia’s most exciting new T20 bowler — left-arm pace, genuine death-bowling threat and the ability to take wickets at any stage. Direct sign at PKR 5.6 crore reflects how much QG value him.
Pakistan’s mystery spinner and QG’s Platinum retention. Abrar’s googlies and top-spinners have bamboozled international batters — on the slow pitches of Karachi he becomes almost unplayable.
QG’s most expensive auction buy at PKR 6.5 crore — a powerful attacking batter of Pakistani origin representing the USA. Brings T20 experience from global franchise leagues and an aggressive style that suits QG’s template perfectly.
PSL veteran with pace, clever variations and the ability to contribute runs at 7 or 8. Curran adds genuine depth to the QG bowling attack alongside Spencer Johnson — two quality overseas pacers in the same XI is a rare luxury.
Quetta Gladiators History
One of PSL’s founding five franchises — Quetta Gladiators have been a consistent title contender, winning PSL 4 (2019) and PSL 10 (2025) and reaching three finals overall.
Quetta Gladiators were founded in 2015 as one of PSL’s original five franchises. Their 2019 title win under Sarfraz Ahmed was their first — beating Peshawar Zalmi in a Karachi final. After several near-misses, Saud Shakeel led them to the 2025 title, ending a six-year wait and establishing himself as one of PSL’s finest captains. Entering PSL 11 as defending champions with arguably their strongest-ever overseas lineup, Gladiators are the team every other franchise has circled on their schedule.
