Ubaid is the most exciting fast bowling prospect in Pakistan cricket right now and the only genuinely uncapped player selected in Pakistan’s Test squad for the West Indies and England tours in July 2026. Born on 5 February 2006 in the Jandol Mayar area of Lower Dir District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he grew up in the same household that produced Naseem Shah, Pakistan’s international fast bowler, and Hunain Shah, also a professional cricketer.
