Morning — Babar Run Out, Collapse Begins

Pakistan resumed on 266/2. Babar Azam needed 14 runs for a Test century he has not scored since 2022. He added just two runs in 21 deliveries before attempting a quick single to a packed cover field. Brandon King picked up sharply and hit the stumps directly. Babar was short of his ground by a distance. Run out for 88.

Jomel Warrican took 6-112 from 46 overs — the best bowling figures of the match from either side. He bowled Pakistan’s lower order out with left-arm spin on a surface that suited him.

But Pakistan posted 387. West Indies made 344. Pakistan lead by 43 on first innings. On a pitch that is deteriorating with every session that advantage will matter.

Pakistan’s Evening Session — Sajid and Ali Usman Take Over

West Indies started their second innings needing to bat Pakistan out of the game. Mohammad Ali’s first spell gave them eight cheap runs and the opening partnership reached 40. The game was drifting West Indies’ way.
