ACC Asia Cup U19 2025: Farhan Yousaf to Lead Pakistan in Dubai
The Pakistan Cricket Board has named Farhan Yousaf as captain for the Pakistan ACC Asia Cup U19 2025 Schedule which set to take place in Dubai from 12 to 21 December. The 18-year-old will lead a 15-member squad in the eight-team tournament.
ACC Asia Cup U19 2025 Tournament Format
The ACC U19 Asia Cup 2025 features 50-over matches across two groups. Pakistan are placed in Group A alongside India, UAE, and Nepal, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Malaysia.
Pakistan Squad Announcement
Farhan Yousaf recently starred for Lahore Region Whites in the National Men’s U19 Cup, scoring 369 runs including a century. Usman Khan will serve as vice-captain after smashing 429 runs for FATA with two centuries.

Pakistan open their ACC U19 Asia Cup 2025 campaign on Friday, 12 December against Nepal at The Sevens Stadium. The highly-anticipated clash against India takes place on Sunday, 14 December at ICC Academy Ground.
The Green Shirts complete their group stage on Tuesday, 16 December against UAE at the same venue.
Knockout Stages
The semi-finals are scheduled for 19 December at both Dubai venues. The final will be played on Sunday, 21 December at ICC Academy Ground.
ACC U19 World Cup Preparation
The tournament serves as crucial preparation for the ICC U19 World Cup 2026, co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia from 15 January to 6 February. Pakistan will undergo a training camp in Karachi before departing for Dubai.
Pakistan exited last year’s tournament in the semi-finals after losing to Bangladesh. The defending champions beat India by 59 runs in the 2024 final.
