Abrar Ahmed is Pakistan’s go-to leg-spin mystery bowler and one of the most exciting spinners in world cricket heading into 2026. Born in Karachi on 11 September 1998, he first made a name for himself in the city’s hyper-competitive tape-ball circuit, where his ability to turn the ball sharply both ways from the front of his hand drew attention long before he pulled on a Pakistan jersey. His road to international cricket was long and interrupted by injury.
