Zalmi record 120-run Victory Light Up Rawalpindi

Zalmi’s innings got off to a shaky start, stumbling to 5-2 with Babar Azam and Saim Ayub dismissed cheaply by David Willey and Michael Bracewell. But the game turned on its head when Mohammad Haris (45 off 21) and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (52 off 30) ignited a 79-run blitz for the third wicket. Haris smashed four fours and three sixes, while Cadmore’s five towering sixes left Sultans’ bowlers shell-shocked.

Hussain Talat chipped in with a steady 37, but the real carnage came from Abdul Samad (40 off 14) and Mitchell Owen (34 off 15). Samad’s four boundaries and three sixes, paired with Owen’s four massive sixes, propelled Zalmi to a towering 227-7. Despite Ubaid Shah’s late strike, the damage was irreparable.

Ali Raza’s Rampage Decimates Sultans

Sultans’ chase never got going. Saim Ayub struck early, removing skipper Muhammad Rizwan in the fourth over. Ali Raza then tore through the middle order, claiming four wickets, including back-to-back dismissals of Michael Bracewell and Ashton Turner. Arif Yaqoob (3-20) and Mitchell Owen (2 wickets in 5 balls) mopped up the tail, bowling Sultans out for a measly 107 in 15.5 overs. Usman Khan’s 44 off 22 was a lone spark in an otherwise dismal batting collapse.
