Wajidullah Nagri, hailing from Nagar, Gilgit-Baltistan, stood atop Mount Everest on May 19, 2025, guided by veteran Sherpa Ang Tashi and the Pioneer Adventure team. Nagri’s résumé already boasted summits of K2, Broad Peak, Nanga Parbat, and both Gasherbrums—yet touching the “Roof of the World” remains his crowning glory.
“Every step above 8,000 m tests your will; reaching the top was surreal,” Nagri reflected after his descent.
Dr Shehla Sheikh conquers Kanchenjunga
