Tuba Hassan is Pakistan’s most potent leg-spin bowler in women’s cricket and one of the most exciting bowling talents the country has produced in any format in recent years. Born on 18 October 2000 in Lahore.
Tuba bowls right-arm leg-break with sharp turn, deceptive flight and the kind of composure in pressure situations that usually takes years to develop. At 25 she is already in her second T20 World Cup and producing match-winning spells at the biggest stage women’s cricket has to offer.
She came through the Lahore domestic cricket system, representing Lahore Women, Higher Education Commission and Quetta Women before her international opportunity arrived.
