Hyderabad Kingsmen were formed as part of PSL’s historic expansion to eight teams in 2026. The franchise was secured by the FKS consortium led by Fawad Sarwar — who also owns the Chicago Kingsmen in Minor League Cricket in the United States, making Kingsmen an internationally connected franchise from day one.

The team name and logo were unveiled at a ceremony held at Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad on February 7, 2026 — a moment of pride for a city that has produced countless Pakistan international cricketers but never had its own PSL franchise.

Hyderabad is one of Pakistan’s most cricket-passionate cities — home to legendary Test players across generations. Bringing a PSL franchise to Hyderabad is about more than one team; it is about recognising the cricketing culture of Sindh beyond Karachi and creating a second home for PSL fans in the province.

While Kingsmen play all PSL 11 matches away from Hyderabad, the franchise has committed to eventually bringing PSL matches to Niaz Stadium once the ground infrastructure is upgraded to PSL standards. For now, their fans travel — and they travel loud.
