Pakistan Greens Key Players – Champions Cup 2026
Four players who will shape Pakistan Greens’ campaign in the National Champions Cup. Each carries a specific World Cup 2027 case to make.
Leads Greens while bowling his leg-break in the middle overs and contributing with the bat in the lower order. His dual value in 50-over cricket makes him one of the first names on Pakistan’s World Cup sheet.
The most talked-about pacer in this squad. Three league matches give Naseem a chance to show his ODI form — his new-ball swing and raw pace are exactly what Pakistan need at the top of a World Cup attack.
Returns to a high-visibility setting after an inconsistent international run. A big knock at the top gives selectors a reason to bring him back into the ODI conversation ahead of the World Cup cycle.
An experienced allrounder who adds genuine lower-order runs and wickets in the middle overs. His ability to contribute in both departments makes him a reliable option in any 50-over lineup.
