Murad Jehan Slams Asian Games Mismanagement After Pakistan Volleyball Team Taken to Wrong Venue

Pakistan volleyball captain Murad Jehan has criticised organisers at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, saying the team’s bus took them to the wrong gymnasium an hour before their match against Uzbekistan.

Jehan said the players had to get ready on the bus with almost no time for a proper warm-up.

What Murad Jehan Said

Jehan called the situation “unacceptable” and “really disappointing.” “Japan has destroyed the dignity and discipline of the Asian Games,” he said.

He also alleged that Pakistan’s athletes have faced repeated problems during the Games. One example he gave was hotel restaurants being closed when the team returned from training, leaving them without food.
