One thing you’ll notice here is that I separate confirmed information from rumors and fan speculation. If Rockstar has confirmed something, I’ll say so. If something is only reported, leaked or being discussed by fans, I’ll make that clear too.

What Is GTA 6?
GTA 6, officially titled Grand Theft Auto VI, is Rockstar Games’ next mainline Grand Theft Auto game.
The game takes players back to Vice City, but this time the setting is part of the wider fictional state of Leonida. Rockstar’s official material describes the story around Jason and Lucia, whose lives become tied together after a robbery goes wrong and pulls them into a larger criminal conspiracy across Leonida.
For longtime GTA players, that means a return to one of the series’ most recognizable locations, but in a much larger and more detailed modern setting.
And yes, the wait has been a long one.
Rockstar previously moved GTA VI’s launch to November 19, 2026, explaining that the additional development time was intended to help finish the game to the expected level of polish.
GTA 6 Release Date
The Grand Theft Auto release date is November 19, 2026.
That is the current official release date listed by Rockstar Games.
The game is confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar’s current official pages do not list a PC version among the confirmed launch platforms.

GTA 6 Gameplay
This is probably the part most GTA fans are interested in.
Rockstar has gradually shown more of GTA VI through its trailers and gameplay footage, with the latest major presentation being Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look.
The Extended Look was released on August 27, 2026. Rockstar says it was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5. The presentation gives players a much closer look at the game’s world, characters and gameplay than the earlier trailers.
If you’ve played GTA 5, you’ll immediately notice that Rockstar is pushing the detail and scale much further.
The important thing, though, is not to confuse what we can see in footage with features Rockstar has explicitly described. Some gameplay details can be observed directly, while others still need official confirmation.

GTA 6 Extended Look
The latest Extended Look is especially important because it is not simply another cinematic trailer.
Rockstar says the footage was captured entirely from the game running on PlayStation 5. It premiered on Netflix and was also released through Rockstar’s official channels.

GTA 6 Map & World
The Grand Theft Auto 6 map is centered on the fictional state of Leonida, with Vice City as one of its major locations.
Rockstar describes Leonida as the setting for Jason and Lucia’s story and presents Vice City as the bright, dangerous center of a much larger criminal world.
There is still plenty for Rockstar to reveal about the full GTA VI map.
Rather than treating every fan-made map or supposed leak as fact, we’re keeping track of locations that can actually be supported by official material.

RockStar games music officially launches some good and high tense music for GTA gameplay 6. here is the full list.
GTA 6 Characters
The central GTA 6 story follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
Their relationship is one of the biggest differences from the usual single-protagonist setup that many players associate with GTA games.
Rockstar’s official description says Jason and Lucia know the deck is stacked against them. After an easy score goes wrong, they become caught up in a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida and are forced to rely on each other.
Rockstar has also introduced additional characters connected to the world of Leonida.

GTA 6 Platforms
GTA latest game play is officially confirmed for:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
Rockstar’s current platform information confirms those two systems for the game.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
This is one of the biggest questions from PC players.
At the moment, Rockstar’s official GTA VI platform information lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It does not list a PC release among the confirmed launch platforms.
That means we should not treat rumored PC dates or unofficial listings as confirmed information.

Is GTA 6 coming to PS4?
Rockstar’s current official platform information lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PS4 is not listed as a supported platform.
GTA 6 Price & Editions
GTA 6 is now available for pre-order, and Rockstar lists two editions:
- Standard Edition
- Ultimate Edition
Rockstar’s official support page confirms both editions and says the Ultimate Edition upgrade will also be available separately for Standard Edition owners.
The official Rockstar Store also lists GTA VI for pre-order and confirms the November 19, 2026 release date.
For Pakistani players, the important thing is to distinguish the official game price from local retailer pricing.
A Pakistani store may list a different price because of taxes, exchange rates, shipping, physical availability or retailer margins. That does not necessarily mean Rockstar has changed the official price.

GTA 6 Pre-Order
GTA VI pre-orders are currently available.
Rockstar announced that pre-orders began globally on June 25, 2026. The company says digital pre-orders can begin pre-loading on November 12, while the physical version contains a download code and is also available starting November 12 for pre-loading.
Rockstar also says purchases and pre-orders made before November 20 receive the Vintage Vice City Pack at no additional cost.
The Ultimate Edition includes additional content tied to Jason and Lucia’s story, with Rockstar describing it as a collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and other items.

GTA 6 System Requirements
This is one area where PC players should be careful.
Rockstar’s current official GTA VI platform information does not list a PC version or official PC system requirements.
So if you see a website claiming to have the official GTA VI minimum or recommended PC requirements, check where those numbers came from.
Unless Rockstar publishes them, treat those specifications as estimates or rumors rather than confirmed requirements.

Rockstar has released several major pieces of official GTA VI footage.

The first GTA VI trailer introduced the game’s modern Vice City setting and the story surrounding Jason and Lucia.

GTA 6 in Pakistan
For Pakistani gamers, there are a few extra things worth watching.
The official GTA 6 release date is November 19, 2026, but the local clock time for launch can depend on how Rockstar and the platform stores handle regional releases.
We’ll publish the exact Pakistan launch timing once it can be confirmed.
Price is another important issue.
The international game price and the amount charged by a Pakistani retailer are not necessarily the same. Local pricing can be affected by currency conversion, taxes, retailer margins and whether you’re buying a digital or physical copy.
So if you’re searching for GTA 6 price in Pakistan, don’t rely on a random retailer listing as proof of Rockstar’s official pricing.
