Gaddafi Stadium Traffic Plan Announced for Pakistan–South Africa T20 Match in Lahore

LAHORE – The Lahore Traffic Police have announced a special Gaddafi Stadium Traffic Plan for today’s Pakistan–South Africa T20 match. The plan ensures smooth traffic flow and easy access for cricket fans heading to the venue.
Over 1,000 Wardens on Duty For Gaddafi Stadium Traffic Plan
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, Dr. Athar Waheed, said that more than 1,000 traffic wardens are deployed across Lahore. All main roads, including The Mall, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road, and Main Boulevard Gulberg, will remain open.
He confirmed that no road will be permanently closed and added that 20 forklifts and four breakdown vehicles are on standby to manage traffic and remove wrongly parked vehicles.
Parking Routes for Fans
- Fans coming from Ferozepur Road should turn from Kalma Chowk and park at Government College Gulberg.
- Those from Defence and Cantt areas can use Hussain Chowk or Sherpao Bridge to reach Liberty Parking.
- Spectators from Mughalpura or Garhi Shahu can use Main Boulevard Gulberg and park near Sunfort Hotel Liberty.
