Sevilla,Spain -- The Spanish Armada led by Rafael Nadal will be up against the Argentine Stars in the Davis Cup Final 2011 from 2nd to 4th December. Rafa will start off Spain's bid for a third title in four years with his opening match against Juan Monaco on Friday.
David Nalbandian, who will be playing in his third final for Argentina, was left out of the singles draw and will instead partner Eduardo Schwank in Saturday's doubles.
On Saturday, Spain's Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco meet David Nalbandian and Eduardo Schwank in the doubles rubber. Nadal is scheduled to face del Potro on Sunday in the first reverse singles rubber, followed by Ferrer versus Monaco.
The draw ceremony took place at the Teatro Lope de Vega in the centre of Seville on Thursday.
Nadal and Ferrer have a combined record of 25 wins and 0 defeats on clay for four-time champions Spain.
Nalbandian hasn't played since mid-October, so Argentina captain Tito Vazquez decided to save the 2002 Wimbledon finalist for the doubles, which is where the South Americans may have an advantage.
