England pulled the strings on their 5 match international losing streak by winning the hardly fought one-off T20I in Kolkata against the home team, India. England finished their tough tour of India on a high as they preserved their No. 1 ranking with star performances from Steven Finn and Kevin Pietersen.

After choosing to bat India got off to a bad start as they lost 2 wickets in the first eight balls of the match, as Steven Finn inspired England finishing with impressive figures of 3 for 22 from his 4 accurate and fast overs. Suresh Raina briefly steadied the rocking Indian ship with 39 off 29 balls but he was soon sent back to the hut as Bairstow took a good catch off the bowling of Finn. India's innings failed to lift off from there and it lacked impetus, with small scores from the rest of their batsman. In the end India set England a target of 121 to finish the tour with a win.

Indian Premier League is much more than an ordinary T20 league. IPL is not a T20 Premier League, but it's a planning, that is made to strengthen cricket foundations of India.
The hot-most topic about the Indian Premier League now a days is, will Pak players participate in the contest or not. Before moving forward, let's have a quick touch to the IPL.
IPL is the India's domestic T20 championship, in which all the franchised teams are allowed to buy the foreign players within their salary cab. IPL was first played in 2008. Many Pakistan cricketers like Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan, Shoaib Malik, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gull, Sohail Tanveer, Kamran Akmal and others also participated in the league. After the final, Rajhastan Royals were declared the champions. Pakistan’s Sohail Tanveer was the highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

After that, a cold-diplomatic was started between the neighboring countries India and Pakistan, which resulted in the form of elimination of Pakistan cricketers from the T20 event, because the Indian government refused to give visa to Pakistani players. After that, 2 more editions of IPL were played without the inclusion of Pakistani players, and till now, the news are that Pakistani player would not be allowed to play IPL's next season that will be played in 2012.
Now, the question is, why should Pakistani players participate in the tournament? Either Pakistani players should play the Indian Premier League or not? On what conditions, should Pakistanis players play the tournament? And so and so... To find the answer of these questions, we must have a look on the concept behind the IPL. We must also look at the positive, as well as the negative aspects of the league. We must look on the behavior of the IPL management with the players. Then we could be able to find out the merits and demerits of IPL.
