Pakistan Under 19: A look at the class of 2012
Pakistan Under-19s tied in the final of the Asia cup against arch rivals India. Pakistan, like all other games, had performed admirably with the bat but this time the bowlers had come against a super talent in Unmukt Chand. Though with Zia-ul-Haq returning and not in full flow, Ehsan Adil delivered when it mattered most. Here is a insight to some of the players playing for Pakistan, and their chances of playing for Pakistan.

Babar Azam: Babar is the captain of the side and a promising talent. An opening batsman with a pure technique, Babar has been tipped by many to represent Pakistan for a long time. Cousin to the Akmal's, Babar is about to represent Pakistan in his second World Cup and remains one of the favourites to lift the coveted youth trophy.
Prediction: Will play for Pakistan for a long time.

Sami Aslam: Sami was a unique talent and when KheloPakistan became the first media outlet to interview him we knew he had a good head on young shoulders. Still only 16, Sami has the ability to match any Pakistani player in history. A left handed opener, first came to recognition in a Tri-Nations tournament in South Africa. His 465 runs at 115 in the Asia Cup, which included two centuries (both against India) only emphasised the talent that pakistan have on their hands.
Prediction: Sami is still 16 and its hard to evaluate, but if he keeps working hard he will become a Pakistani great.

Imam-ul-Haq: Another 16 year old left hander, Imam had a solid Asia Cup despite failing in the final. Three fifties in the tournament at a explosive strike rate, the Lahore born youngster has a bright future ahead of him.
Prediction: Need to see more, the World Cup will give us a more truer insight.

Umer Waheed: The vice captain of the side, Umer is a an attacking right handed batsman. Pakistan have traditionally been weak at batting but Umer has the ingredients that can make him a player to watch out for.
Prediction: Already has played domestic cricket and is expected to move up the ranks.

Mohammad Nawaz: An all-rounder by trade, Nawaz had nothing short than a remarkable Asia Cup. Consistent performances with the bat were accompanied by some excellent bowling performances. With left arm orthodox bowling, the in thing, Nawaz is a promising player.
Prediction: As a bowler, he has Hasan Raza to compete with but his all-round ability may mean he might challenge Shoaib Malik in the long term.

Ehsan Adil: Another one of the lads that KheloPakistan interviewed; Ehsan is a genuine quick bowler. He led the attack in the absence of Zia-ul-Haq and seemed unperturbed with the challenge that faced him. Defending only a mere 7 runs in the final, he bowled a over of real quality which showed he is ready to take that step forward.

Prediction: Ehsan is also a handy batsman, but with Pakistan looking for the next big paceman, Ehsan stands a good chance to become exactly that.

Usman Qadir: Son of Pakistani great, Abdul Qadir, Usman is a talented legbreak bowler along with a promising batsman. About to participate in his second World Cup, he will need to perform better then his average show in the Asia Cup.

Prediction: Although a good talent, Pakistan have better spin options and it will be hard for him to break through.

Azizullah: Another fast bowler, Azizullah had a solid Asia Cup. He stepped up to the absence of Zia-ul-Haq and showed potential and ability alike.

Prediction: Will be hard pushed with the talent he has to compete with, but performances like the Asia Cup will not go unnoticed.

Zia-ul-Haq: His name has been mentioned many times already in this article and he has a load of Pakistani fans in his fan base. Still only 17, he has come to promise by performing for PIA in List A cricket. He represented Lahore Lions in the Faysal Bank T20 and picked up 5 for 23 against Faislabad. Bowling in the high 140s, Zia is touted for big things.

Prediction: Il stick my neck out and say he will be Pakistan's next big pace sensation.

Overall looking at the youngsters, they are a bright bunch of whom many are destined for big things. Hard work and dedication is needed; but the raw ingredients are there. Pakistan is a country that is not short of talent and this present bunch a testament to that.
