Pakistan won the toss and had elected to field at the Bayuemas Oval stadium and it didn't look pretty for Nepal as they lost 3 wickets with just 61 on the board and didn't manage to recover, Naresh Budayir top scored with 34 but Nepal we're eventually bowled out for 156 with three of the wickets coming in run outs.
Azizullah and Mohammad Nawaz both took 2 wickets with fast bowlers Zia-ul-haq, Ehsan Adil alongside spinner Usman Qadir taking 1 each.
Pakistan however had an opening partnership of 98 before the first wicket of Babar Azam fell, Leading from the front skipper Azam scored 48 off 64 deliveries before being stumped off by Khakurel and Vishvakarma getting his wicket. His opening partner on the other end left hand wicket keeper Sami Aslam who continues to impress made sure he got his country over the line with a well made half century and finished off the paltry total in 38 overs giving his side an 8 wicket victory. The 16 year old gained the man of the match award for his 82* which included 12 boundaries.
Pakistan's next game will be against arch rival neighbours India under 19's on Sunday the 24th at the Kinrara Academy Oval in Kuala Lumpur, The winner will have booked a place in the Semi-Finals.
