Shahid Afridi and one of Pakistan's finest domestic performers throughout the years Fawad Alam have both been pulled out of the Karachi Dolphins squad for the National Super Eight T20 championship.
Afridi who's just returned from Bangladesh after a successful Asia cup campaign where his man of the match performance in the final against the Bangladeshi tigers helped Pakistan win the game by 2 runs and be known as champions of Asia isn't going to participate due to a charity event going on within the united states according to Karachi city cricket association's president Siraj-ul-Islam Bukhari. As the charismatic all rounder is out of contention former pakistan fast bowler Mohammed Sami will now lead the Karachi Dolphins.
Bukhari also explained that Fawad Alam who last made an international appearance in a T20 against New Zealand and has been out of the national side for almost 2 years pulled out because "He is getting married" explained the president.
The second season of this T20 tournament will commence from Sunday 25th march at the Pindi cricket stadium as the current champions Rawalpindi Rams will be looking to defend there title infront of there own crowd in Rawalpindi. ![]()
