Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that it is time to forget the past and cherish Pakistan’s emphatic win. The Chairman said that by talking about the spot-fixing issue repeatedly, some forces try to bring player morale down, but players understand that it was a thing of the past, and the players involved have been punished.
“It is time for us to focus of the present and the future”, he added. Zaka also spoke about how big an achievement it was for this team to beat England in a test series, and it shows that the team, players, management and administrations sole focus is to do well in cricket.
“It won’t be a surprise if Pakistan whitewashes England, under the astute leadership of Misbah ul Haq.”
Mr. Ashraf also said that on the occasion of Pakistan’s homecoming, there will be a ceremony organized and the players will be rewarded for their performances.
