First up its Manchester City. City have faced a long barren run in their quest for trophies. They have changed managers and owners and sometimes even full squads. It wasn’t until Manchester City were taken by Oil Money, Their new middle east owners. They have splashed the cash and have now made Manchester City into formidable title contenders. If a team wants to buy their way to winning a trophy, it is their problem and the world should accept that and admire their quality.
The likes of Silva, Toure, The rock solid Gareth Barry and the seemingly unbeatable Joe Hart have made sure Manchester City would not pull out of the title race by some scintillating displays. The football they played last season was not so appreciated by their fans but this season Roberto Mancini and his troops have stunned everyone by their intense attacking football and scintillating displays. In their team, Only Yaya Toure has experience of winning a league title when he played for Barcelona even though they have their Spanish Maestro and world cup winner David Silva in their ranks.

Speaking of Spanish Maestro’s, Manchester United bought arguably the best young keeper in the world, David De Gea who is a Spanish international and has had a stop start to the season in his desire to emulate Edwin Van Der Sar. Some brilliant displays combined with some huge errors have made the Spanish keeper’s first year at Manchester United a rocky one. Manchester United kicked off their season by winning the community shield against Manchester City.
They Started their PL campaign in mesmerizing style until injuries took their toll and stretched the squad so much that The Midfield Legend Paul Scholes had to come out of retirement to help out. Currently they are 3 points off the leaders and with players who have been there and done it before, They are looking in top form.
Tottenham. Who would have thought the table would look like this? Tottenham have simply been a revelation. Flying full backs in Assou Ekotto and Kyle Walker. Flying wingers in Lennon and Gareth Bale. The rock in the center, Scott Parker. The artist in Modric. Their team is complete. The only thing they lack is experience. With a little bit of title winning experience who would bet against them? Their football has been a joy to watch. Stunning attacking football with beautiful overlaps and one touch football. Even Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that Tottenham play the best football in the league.
The best football league in the world? No doubt. You never know what is going to happen next unlike La liga which just consists of basically 2 teams in Real Madrid and Barcelona. Committed defending, world class finishing and midfield battling displays all constitute the best league in the world. Long may it continue.
