Younis Khan's double ton, Mohammad Hafeez's and Asad Shafiq's century and spin-attack led Pakistan towards the victory, as Pakistan beat Bangladesh by an innings and 184 runs in the 1st test match of 2-match test series, at Chittagong.
After winning the toss at the 1st day, Pakistan put Bangladesh to bat first. Pakistan, who was having the best spin-attack started their bowling with Mohammad Hafeez. Hafeez became the only 3rd spin-bowler of the history of cricket to bowl the 1st over of a test match.
Bangladesh's batting fully failed, as they were restricted at a score of only 135. Only three Bangladeshi could reach to double-figure. Top scorer from the host side was Nazim-ud-Din, who scored 41 runs. Along with Nasir, Nazim-ud-Din scored 31 runs to become the 2nd leading scorer of Bangladesh. Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman took 3, 3 wickets, whereas Umer Gull and Aizaz Cheema took 2, 2 wickets.
Younis Khan was awarded Man of the Match award for his unbeaten 200 runs. Pakistan won the match by an innings and 184 runs and leaded the 2-match series by 1-0.
It seemed very difficult for the Bangladeshi side to complete the lead of 459 runs and then give a reasonable target. And as per expectations, Pakistan bowled out 9 players of Bangladesh team at the score of 275. Last player could not bat due to injury. Bangladesh's Shakib-ul-Hasan was the highest scorer. Abdur Rehman leaded the bowling chart with 4 wickets, whereas Saeed Ajmal also took 2 wickets.

But he could not accompane him for long, ashe was caught behind after scoring 26 runs. Then comes Younis Khan on the crease, who played a remarkable innings of 200 runs and was not out till the end of the innings. But before this, Mohammad Hafeez was given out on 143 runs after a controversial decision by Billy Doctrov. After Hafeez, Misbah was also dismissed on 20 runs. After Misbah, Asad Shafiq joined Younis Khan and scored his first maiden test century.
He was out on 104 runs. Pakistan ended their innings at the score of 594 runs and lead by 459 runs. Younis Khan was leading scorer with 200* runs. From Bangladesh, Elyas Sunny was highest wicket-taker with 3 wickets. Whereas Nasir Hossain and Shakib-ul-Hassan took 1, 1 wickets.
