Frank Lampard has been confirmed as England captain for Saturday's friendly international with Spain at Wembley.
The Chelsea midfielder will lead out England for the second time as the official captain, John Terry, is not starting against the World Champions.
Fabio Capello however did, confirm that Terry will captain England against Sweden on Tuesday and reiterated that he is 'innocent until proven guilty' in the ongoing race row.
Lampard, who leads England out at Wembley for the first time, said: 'It will be my proudest moment in an England shirt.'Lampard's only other match as Fabio Capello's skipper was another friendly, against Denmark in Copenhagen, nine months ago which England won 2-1.
Lampard played down the effect of the racism incident on Terry, and said 'He's coping just fine. We've all had our moments in football where we've had a difficult time for whatever reason.
'When he plays on Tuesday you'll see exactly the same John playing for England.'
Fabio Capello also conifrmed that Phil Jones will also feature in tommorrow's match and will play in the midfield alongside Barry and Lampard.
