Pakistani bowler Rana Naveed-ul-Hassan has said that he has no intentions of retiring from international cricket soon despite being constantly ignored by the selectors.

Rana Naveed was banned from representing the green shirts for an year after the team's disastrous tour of Australia in 2010. He has not been considered for selection ever since, despite the lifting of the ban.

"I was expecting to be in the mix of the [Sri Lanka] tour, but was distraught to find out that it wasn't the case", Naveed told a newspaper, "But despite the repeated overlooking, I'm in no mood of throwing in the towel, because I can still play at the top level for at least two years and will work hard to play for Pakistan again."
