Those who thought that after the strict punishment given to the three Pakistani cricketers because of their involvement in Spot Fixing, theRaza Pakistani Cricket setup is free and clean from any kind of fixing, they should think again. The Karachi City Cricket Association is interrogating two key players and team manager Saeed Jabbar about their team Karachi Zebras suspect loss against Peshawar Panthers in the recently concluded Super 8 T20 Cup which is the premier T20 event in the country. The two players that are also interrogated along with the manager are Captain Hassan Raza and Test Cricketer Danish Kaneria.

Both the Peshawar Panthers and the Karachi Zebras were placed in Group A of the tournament and played an important match of the group on the 29th of March 2012 as it was a do or die game for both the teams and none of the team could have afford to lose the game, however while Karachi was bowling first, their premier bowler Danish Kaneria bowled just 4 deliveries and without even completing his first over He went off the field indicating an injury, there were speculations that Kaneria was unfit before the game as well but was played considering the importance of the match for the team. Absence of Kaneria prompted Captain Hassan Raza to opt for a part time bowler Rameez Aziz to complete Kaneria’s quota of overs. Rameez who is an opening batsman gave away 24 runs in the 3.2 overs He bowled. The Panthers batters made full use of an incomplete bowling attack of the Karachi team and scored 158 runs in 20 overs.

Pakistan Blind Cricket TeamPakistan Blinds cricket team was cleared of any wrongdoing after a commission, formed to probe its 'unexpected' loss to India, blamed poor playing conditions in Chennai as well as the absence of key players from the line-up as reasons behind the defeats.

The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) formed a four-man committee after the team lost to a young India side in the one-day and T20 series last month, ending their run of seven successive series triumphs.

Junaid KhanThe Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will not issue No-Objection Certificate (NOC) to fast bowler Junaid Khan to represent Lancashire in the County championship.

Junaid has been injured twice within the four months period and PCB want to protect him from further injuries. Pakistan's next international assignment is to play a full series in Sri Lanka followed by the 'home' series against Australia, also to be played in Sri Lanka, before featuring in the fourth edition of the ICC World Twenty20.

Speaking to a news outlet, Junaid said will; "I prefer to play for Pakistan that give fame and respect in the cricketing world as I want to serve my country."

"I understand I am at the beginning of my career but injuries can happen anytime. I have a long career ahead. The most important thing is that I am still on my feet after the injury and ready to play again," he added.

"I want to take my country to new height in the cricket world with my bowling and want to win matches for my country through my performances," the promising left armer said.

Junaid has been out since Febuaury, when he sustained a fracture of the patella (knee cap) during the Twenty20 series against England. Junaid said that he has recovered from the knee injury.

The move to Lancashire, which requires approval from the Pakistan Cricket Board, would be of great beneficial to Junaid. Fellow compatriot Wasim Akram played for the North East English county for around two decades. Though over-work on what is already perceived as a injury prone body might have severe consequences on the career of the seamer.
