Karachi Zebras were scheduled to play against Faisalabad Wolves in the first match of the double header whereas Lahore Lions faced off against Peshawar Panthers in the second game played under lights.

In the first game Naveed Latif, Captain of Faisalabad Wolves won the toss and in overcast weather conditions, He surprisingly elected to bat first.
