Although a lot of time is still remaining in the comencement of Cricket World Cup 2015 that is to be jointly held in Australia and New Zealand, the picture for Pakistan Cricket Team does not look much encouraging already.

It's true that I am coming up with prediction right after a rare clinical win by Pakistan Team over Sri Lanka in Dubai and it may seem pessimistic but yes, Pakistan Team is likely to suffer during the next World Cup.

The reason being just one: A mind-boggling and an illogical Future Tour Programme. Pakistan has no tour to Australia and New Zealand from 2011 till the start of next World Cup.

On the Other hand, the two other Asian giants; India and Sri lanka, are scheduled to tour Australia and New Zealand Twice during the same period.

Do you expect miracles from our young batsmen to get big runs on those bouncy and windy conditions that have been Alien to them? Let's take a look at the bizarre ICC FTP at depth:

Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan helped rampant Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in Dubai to go one up in a five match series. Imran Farhat (50) and Younis Khan (56 not out) made a chase of 132 relatively easy as they dominated the toothless Sri Lankan attack. Mohammad Hafeez fell early in the chase as he played a nothing shot to get out caught at mid-on, but a 103 run partnership in 17 overs, killed the contest, if there ever was one.

Afridi stars as Pakistan thump Sri Lanka.

The Man, Who was under the Limelight!

The Man who came back to international Arena after 5 months Proved himself to be counted as the Best all rounder in the World!

SHAHID KHAN AFRIDI is the MAN! The Leg-spinner capped an excellent return to international cricket.

He ripped through the Sri Lankans. What a player, what an individual! His mere presence can enforce a victory.

You just have to love the theatre of the man.

He gets thrown the ball from Misbah with one of his first offerings sailing high over mid on for 6 courtesy of Dinesh Chandimal. Then unfazed, he goes back to the top of his mark and bowls Chandimal an unplayable googly trapping him plumb in front

Arms raised in the middle of the pitch in a typical Afridi pose oozing that unique charismatic aura with the crowd going gonzo in appreciation of him.

I must admit, I am one of his hugest critics, mainly due to my old mans view of the game. That is so stuck in traditions, and so adverse to accepting the necessary flash that has so accompanied the changes in the Modern age. That he embodies and masters arguably better than anyone.

His batting might have diminished in consistency of late, but my word is his bowling lethal.

Manchester United have surpassed Coca Cola to become the world's sixth biggest brand according to the Daily Mirror.

The defending Premier League champions are only bettered in brand terms by Google, Apple, the BBC, Dyson and Facebook, meaning the much maligned Glazer family, who saddled Manchester United in huge debt when they bought the club in 2005, have managed to engineer their way past Microsoft and the aforementioned soft drink giants.

Who remembers Sydney 2010? Who remembers Pakistan losing a won Test against Australia? Don't remember many that don't have a good recollection of that particular game. Kamran Akmal had missed numerous chances and from Australia 8 down for a few runs in the lead. In stepped Micheal Hussey, and with the help of calamity Kamran took the Aussies into a healthy lead before Pakistan succumbed in their second innings to a defeat.

 Imy's Gimme: What about Newlands?

Come to today and Newlands, Cape Town, where 23 wickets fell in a day of frantic cricket. Australia started the day 8 down and resisted well for a hour before South Africa polished off the tail. The home side started their innings and quickly were in trouble, as Shane Watson (5-15) ran riot. Helped by 4 DRS reversals Australia polished of the South African innings in a mere 96 runs. So Australia were 188 in the lead and looking like it was a mere formality of winning the Test, that was not even into the third session of the second day.
