The FA Cup third round draw put out a classic of a tie when Manchester rivals United were drawn away to City. What could have been a classic final is the first tie the big teams will play in. The game will be the first since City thrashed United in the Laegue 6-1 away at Old Trafford. Though both teams would have preffered a easier tie to rest some big names players, it will not be case and a chance for either side to stamp their authority on the other.

The other big tie sees Leeds United face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Leeds had been big rivals of the Gooners until their decline a few years ago. Can expect a fierce encounter. Also money struck Portsmouth were drawn away to Chelsea.

A tie that can bring good income for the South Coast club. Non-League Chelmsford have a reward of going to Premier league club Bolton if they overcome Macclesfield in a replay. Also Tamworth have been rewarded to a trip to Goodison Park to play Everton, in what can be a potential banana skin for the Merseyside club.
