The second day of the First Test Match between South Africa and Australia was a day when wickets went down like prices of Petrol increase in Pakistan. What made the Aussies turn this day into one of the most spectacular one? Get the sarcastic side of one of the most amazing batting collapses in recent times...
The recent Test match between South Africa and Australia at Newlands was mind-boggling. The second day started with the first innings continuing and ended with the fourth innings. A whopping 23 wickets fell on the second day of one of the most bizarre batting collapses by the two teams. 23 WICKETS! That’s almost two and a half innings of test cricket! I wasn’t watching the test match, I was watching Japanese anime and no one dares to disturb me when I’m watching anime. But my dad came and told me, “Ustad, tumhari South Africa to Pakistan ki tarah khel rahi hai”. I thought maybe they’re having a collapse but sooner or later someone would come and get them out of it. When the anime ended, I started another episode, but I decided to have a look on the scorecard. I was shocked to see South Africa bowled out for a mere 96. “Well, that’s another Test in Australia’s pocket!”, I thought and resumed watching the anime. I was tired of Australia winning everything they put their hands on.
